We have a small flock of free range poultry at Pathhead and actively breed our own stock. This includes Geese, Peking Bantams, Legbar Hens (blue egg layers) and hopefully we'll have Call Ducks soon as well.

One of the methods of grass management for the orchard being considered is keeping geese on it. They are excellent at keeping the grass clipped and a perfect natural fertilizer distributor. Anyone who had had geese know how much of a mess their mess makes!
